| When Candle Dippers was formed in 2003 our goal was to provide our customers with the best handmade, quality products possible. We knew that fresh products required oils, butters, fragrances and other ingredients that were fresh not manufactured and packaged in one place, shipped to another then sold by another.

| We started our venture with Bath and Body care after researching what was in our own personal use products. Some ingredients were just not what we wanted on our own bodies and knew that we were not alone. Soon we were investing in every book available on more natural products. After a year of researching, learning and testing (always on ourselves first then friends and family) we launched our line of B&B in mid 2004.

| Of course hand in hand with B&B in the etailer world is wax. That was another decision that took much research on our part. We had heard the pros and cons of the different waxes, knew the challenges of each. Soy wax is a renewable resource depending on the production of soybeans by the farmers. Paraffin is a limited resource product that comes from crude oil. Both are equally enviromentally friendly for different reasons. Both produce a "soot" if improperly formulated or wicked. With the information in hand we started testing many different wax formulas and we finally decided on a parasoy blend for our melts. We test each and every scent using a 24watt combo burner and depending on the scent (some scents are just naturally lighter IE: patchouli is always strong where as some florals are lighter) get between 6-12 hours of wonderful scent. There are many types of warmers on the market and each will give you a different amount of scent time due to heat produced.
